Leche: Erosion beginner guide

Learn the first Leche: Erosion atoll run: dredge sediment, reclaim useful shallows, protect exposed coast, and prepare before each wave.

Play Leche: Erosion

Start with the guided opening

Use the Guided Run for the clearest introduction. Its four-step opening teaches the core loop in the intended order: dredge sediment, reclaim land, protect the coastline, then start the wave.

Do not rush the wave control. The preparation phase is where you shape the atoll and spend sediment without incoming pressure.

Treat sediment as a tactical resource

Dredging gives you sediment directly. Sediment can raise deep water to shallows before it becomes usable sand, so one click may prepare a future building tile rather than finish it.

Broken wave cells, breakwater catches, eroded coastline material, and end-of-wave deposits can replenish sediment. There is no passive per-second income to rescue an overextended plan.

Protect the exposed side first

Read the storm forecast and pressure hints before placing defenses. Breakwaters interrupt incoming force, while vegetation and reinforcement reduce pressure on vulnerable coast cells.

Build a compact defended edge before expanding. A smaller stable atoll is easier to maintain than a wide shoreline with several weak approaches.

Use recovery tools

The game previews valid targets and keeps the main decisions close to the map. If the most recent build was a mistake, use the one-step undo before committing the rest of the opening.
